8-03 Control Word Timeout Time
Default value: Size related
Setup: 1 setup
Data type: Uint32
Enter the maximum time expected to pass between the reception of 2 consecutive telegrams. If this time is exceeded, it indicates that
the serial communication has stopped. The function selected in parameter 8-04 Control Word Timeout Function is then carried out. A
valid control word triggers the timeout counter.
8-04 Control Word Timeout Function
Default value: [0] Off
Setup:

Data type: Uint8
Select the timeout function. The timeout function activates when the control word and reference is not updated within the time period
specified in parameter 8-03 Control Word Timeout Time.
To change the setup after a timeout, configure as follows:
Set parameter 0-10 Active Set-up to [9] Multi setup.

NOTICE
Description
Resumes control via fieldbus (fieldbus or standard), using the
most recent control word.
Freezes output frequency until communication resumes.
Stops with auto restart when communication resumes.
Runs the motor at jog frequency until communication resumes.
Runs the motor at maximum frequency until communication
resumes.
Stops the motor, then resets the drive to restart:
• Via the fieldbus.
• Via [Reset].
• Via a digital input.
Changes the setup after a control word timeout. If
communication resumes after a timeout, parameter 8-05 End-
of-Timeout Function either resumes the setup used before the
timeout, or retains the setup endorsed by the timeout function.
