REPLACING TUBE HEAD

Chapter E - C-ARM AND IMAGING ARM
Open the primary collimator mechanism by rotating the primary collimator screws located
behind the blades (Fig. 155, 1) so that you can see the two attachment screws (Fig. 155, 2).
Unscrew the screws with 2.5mm Allen key and remove the primary collimator (Fig. 155, 3).
Unscrew the four tube head attachment screws with 4mm Allen key and remove the tube
head.

Install the new tube head in reverse order. Make sure that the tube head is parallel with the C-
arm casting back edge.
Connect the cables as shown in Fig. 154 on page E-102. Perform the adjustments according
to the instructions given in section 1 "PANORAMIC BEAM AND PATIENT POSITIONING
MECHANISM ADJUSTMENT" on page E-1.
