Setting Knife Speed

Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.

1. Start the engine. Refer to

2. Move the throttle to adjust the engine speed to IDLE.

3. Set the Intermediate Speed Control (ISC) to OFF. Refer to

4. Engage the header drive switch (A), and pull up on the

black ring at the base of the switch.

A slight delay between activating the header

drive switch and achieving operating speed

5. Run the engine at maximum rpm.

To disengage the header drive, push down the

header drive switch (A).
