Chapter 13
Serial Interface
13.3 Clock-Synchronous Communication
This section describes the Clock-Synchronous communication. The index "n" of serial interface (SCIF) denotes
"n = 0, 1, 2, 3", unless otherwise noted.
When communicating with Clock-Synchronous by using SCIFn (n = 0, 1), set SCnMD1.SCnCMD to "0".
When communicating with Clock-Synchronous by using SCIFn (n = 2, 3), set SCnMD3.SCnCMD to "0".
13.3.1
Form
2-wire Communication
Data transmission or reception is executed with a clock pin (SBTn) and a data pin (SBOn or SBIn).
SBOn can be used for data transmission and reception. SBIn is used only for data reception.
3-wire Communication
Data transmission and reception are executed with 3 pins (SBTn, SBOn and SBIn).
SBOn and SBIn are used for data transmission and reception, respectively.
4-wire Communication
Data transmission and reception are executed with 3 pins of 3-wire communication and a chip select pin (SBCSn).
