Servomotor
Overheated

Probable Cause
Ambient operating temperature too
high
Servomotor surface dirty
Servomotor overloaded
A fault occurred in the fan.
Incorrect wiring of the fan.
The brake is not released.
Investigative Actions
Measure the servomotor ambient
operating temperature.
Visually check the surface.
Check the load status with monitor.
Check if the fan is rotating or not.
Check if the fan is rotating back-
ward.
Check the wiring.
Check the operation of the brake.

Corrective Actions
Reduce the ambient operating tem-
perature to 40°C or less.
Clean dust and oil from the surface.
If an overload occurs, reduce the
load or replace the SERVOPACK,
converter, and servomotor with
models with higher capacities.
Replace the servomotor.
Correct the wiring.
Release the brake.
