Remove The Low Voltage Power Supply (Lvps) - Christie J Series Service Manual

Install the Lamp Power Supply
1. Secure the feet onto the new lamp power supply with (4) 3 mm hex
screws.
2. Secure the lid and harnesses onto the new lamp power supply with (3)
3 mm hex screws.
3. Connect the lamp power supply fan harness (P1) and make sure proper
routing as shown.
4. Secure the lamp terminals with (4) #1 Phillips® screws.
5. Place the lamp power supply in the projector and secure the brackets to
the baseplate with (4) 3 mm hex screws.
6. Starting at step #11, continue the removal instructions in reverse to
complete the installation. See

4.5.2 Remove the Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS)

(18 minutes)
1. Remove the top cover. See
2. Remove the card cage. See
3. Remove (2) #2 Phillips® screws from the lens side of the power supply.
Slide the LVPS out of the projector.
4. Remove (4) #2 Phillips® screws from the bottom plate of the LVPS.
5. Remove the harness from the LVPS.
NOTICE! Make note of which wire goes to which terminal.

Remove the Lamp Power
Always power down and disconnect/disengage all power sources to the
projector before servicing or cleaning.
