12. REMOVAL
OF PISTON
Remove
the piston by applying
compressed
air through
the
z
brake
hose fitting
hole.
Caution
Place a piece of cloth
in front
of the piston,
and slowly
increase
the force
of the compressed
air to prevent
the
piston
from
springing
out
abruptly.

Remove
the ~piston seal.
Caution
Be careful
not
to damage
the
caliper
bore.

the caliper
suppon
for cracks.

Check
the caliper
body
for cracks
and cylinder
for rust,
@ Check
the piston
for rust.
Caution
The bushing,
pin boot,
cap, dust boot
and piston
seal must
all be replaced
with
ne&~ parts.
