To perform the image search functions described later with the
LOGIQ 500 system, the video tape to be recorded must be
registered in the system in advance.
To register a new video tape:
Turn the LOGIQ 500 system power on.
When the VCR has been correctly connected and set up, the
VCR status icon EJECT (
of the monitor upon completion of system start-up.
If this status icon does not appear, conduct a check in
accordance with Starting the VCR on page 8–14 .
If the stop status icon (J) has appeared, there is a video tape
in the VCR. Press <EJECT> to eject the tape from the
recorder.
Check if the system is in the scan image mode.
Check that the screen displayed on the monitor is a normal
live image and that Ext Video on the control panel is partially
lit.
If Ext Video is fully lit, press Ext Video to select the scan image
mode.
If Ext Video is not lit, conduct a check in accordance with
Starting the VCR on page 8–14 .
