The CPU checks whether a project AUTOLOAD.WLD exists on the memory card. If
so, an overall reset is executed and the project is automatically loaded from the
memory card.

The CPU checks whether a command file with the name VIPA_CMD.MMC exists on
the memory card. If so the command file is loaded from the memory card and the
commands are executed.

After PowerON and CPU STOP the CPU checks if there is a *.pkb file (firmware file)
on the memory card. If so, this is shown by the status bar of the CPU and the firm-
ware may be installed by an update request.

The CPU checks if a previously activated VSC is inserted. If not, this is shown by the
status bar of the CPU and a diagnostics entry is released. The CPU switches to
STOP after 72 hours. With a just installed VSC activated functionalities remain acti-

vated.
After this the CPU switches to the operating mode, which is set on the operating mode
switch.
In the delivery state the CPU is overall reset. After a STOP®RUN transition the CPU
switches to RUN without program.
