Connecting an external braking resistor

If you are using the internal braking resistor, DCP and R2 must be jumpered.
If you are using an external braking resistor, DCP and R2 must not be jumpered. Connect the
braking resistor via the DCP and R1 terminals.
The terminals are spring-loaded terminals.
The permissible cable length cable length is 3 m.
