Replacing fans - only for converters with 3 AC line connection

The fan module is installed in the lower section of the converter.
Service life of the fan
The average service life of the fan is 40,000 hours. However, in practice the service life may be
shorter. Especially a dusty environment can block up the fan.
The fan must be replaced in good time to ensure that the converter remains ready for operation.

Replacing fans
Proceed as follows to remove the fan module:
Procedure
1. Switch off the converter power supply.
2. Remove the converter if necessary. To do so, release all connections at the converter.
3. Remove the fan as shown in the diagram.

After the power supply has been switched off, it takes up to 5 min. until the capacitors in the
inverter have discharged so that the residual charge is at a non-hazardous level.
