Replacing the motor bearings
Motor bearings are wearing parts. They must be replaced after a defined number of operating
hours.
At medium loads, the motor bearings last approx. 25000 h.
The procedure for replacing the motor bearing depends on the size of the motor.
For 1FK2☐03 ... 1FK2☐05 motors, it is not possible to replace the motor bearings. Replace
these motors in their entirety.
Replacement of the motor bearings is only intended as from 1FK2☐06.
Especially favorable ambient conditions, such as low average speed, low radial force
(transverse force) and vibration load can prolong the interval until motor replacement.

Premature bearing and motor replacement
Harsh operating conditions, e.g. continuous operation at n
frequent reversing duty reduce the bearing or motor replacement interval by up to 50 %.
