3. Release the wiring and brake hose from its clips on
either side of the handlebar.
4. Undo the screws and free the left switchgear
assembly from the handlebar.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the clamp from the
clutch lever assembly.
6. Undo the screws and free the right switch gear
assembly from the handlebar. Free the switch wiring
from the handlebars.
Z Unscrew the bolts and remove the clamp from the
master cylinder. Remove and support the master
cylinder in an upright position.
8. Remove the bolt covers from the handlebar clamps
bolts.
9. Undo and remove the bolts securing the handlebar
clamps and remove the clamps.

10. Free the handlebar from the twist-grip and remove it
from the motorcycle.
Frame and Bodywork
Installation
1. Fit the throttle twist-grip then locate the handlebars
in the lower halves of the clamp.
2. Align the handlebar punch mark with the lower-front
inner left hand split line of the clamp.

3. Tighten the front clamp bolts to 26 Nm, then the
rears.

Refit the handlebar clamps bolts covers.
Locate the clutch lever assembly to the handlebar
and fit the clamp.
Align the clamp upper split line with the punch mark
on the handlebar then tighten the clamp bolts to
15Nm.

Z Align the front brake master cylinder to the
handlebar and fit the clamp to the front brake master
cylinder.
