6. Invert the fork and pour out the fork oil into a
suitable container. Pump the fork assembly to
remove all oil.

The oil level specified for Rocket III Touring is
110 mm from the upper surface of the fork
inner tube, with the spring removed and the
fork fully compressed.
Any variation from the figures quoted above could
result in an unsafe riding condition leading to loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.

1. Fork oil level <fork fully compressed)
Z Upright the fork and fill the fork with Kayaba
KH L34-G 10 (SAE 10W) fork oil until the oil level is
slightly above the recommended level.
8. Pump the fork assembly several times to expel any
trapped air then fully compress the fork and support
it in an upright position. Leave the fork for a few
minutes to allow the oil level to stabilise.
