- ECM pin 834 to ground
Short circuit Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to test

3 Check cable continuity: OK Proceed to test 4
- Instrument pin 15 to ECM pin 834
Open circuit Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to test
- Instrument pin 10 to ground

- Instrument pin 2 to alarm control

4 Check cable for short circuit: OK Renew instruments, proceed to test 5
ECM pin 834 to ECM pin A20 Short circuit Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to test

5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code and run OK Action complete - quit test
