12. Release the screws securing the fuel pipe bracket
and fuel pump bracket to the mounting bar. Discard
the screws after removal.

13. Remove Ihe fuel pump from Ihe mounling bar.

14. Disconnect the electrical conneclion and Ihe fuel
hose from Ihe pump.

Fuel System/Engine Management
Inspection
1.
Inspecl all hoses for cracks, splilS, fraying and other
damage. Replace as necessary.
2. Check all hose clips for cracks and signs of dislorlion.
Replace as necessary.
Assembly
1. Locale Ihe fuel pipe and hose 10 Ihe pump oullet
2. Connecllhe fuel pump eleclrical connector.
3. Posilion Ihe fuel pump to the mounting bar,
ensuring Ihe feet of Ihe rubber isolalor engage
correclly in Ihe fork.

4. Ensuring Ihat Ihe flat edge of Ihe fuel pump baffle
grommet is aligned with the mounling bar, refit the
pump clamp and lighlen a new screw 10 3 Nm.
