8.28.5 Example for Configuring BGP Routing Policies

BGP routing policies can be used to flexibly control traffic on a complex network.

two PEs accessing the core layer, are used as an example. MP-BGP is used to advertise inner
tags and VPNv4 routes between the PEs. Each PE establishes an MP-IBGP peer relationship

to the PEs excluding the senders of these messages through different planes.

with three Ps). On the actual network, there are 14 sites with 28 PEs, and each plane has four Ps and two
RRs. Each RR needs to establish MP-IBGP connections with 28 PEs.
