10.3.5 Applying a Route-Policy

A route-policy takes effect only when it is applied to a routing protocol.
Context
A route-policy can be applied to direct, static, RIP/RIPng, IS-IS, OSPF/OSPFv3, BGP/BGP4+,
multicast, and BGP/MPLS IP VPN routes. In addition, a route-policy can be applied to an FRR
scenario. Perform one of the following configurations as needed:
