9.11.2 Configuring a Route Reflector and Specifying Clients
A route reflector and clients need to be configured in a specified address family.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
bgp { as-number-plain | as-number-dot }
The BGP view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
ipv6-family [ unicast ]
The BGP IPv6 unicast address family view is displayed.
Step 4 Run:
peer { ipv4-address | ipv6-address | group-name } reflect-client
The route reflector and its clients are configured.
The router on which this command is run serves as the route reflector. In addition, this command
specifies the peers that serve as its clients.

9.11.3 (Optional) Disabling a Route Reflection Between Clients
If the clients of a route reflector are fully meshed, you can disable route reflection between clients
to reduce the cost.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
bgp { as-number-plain | as-number-dot }
The BGP view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
ipv6-family [ unicast ]
The BGP IPv6 unicast address family view is displayed.
Step 4 Run:
undo reflect between-clients
Route reflection between clients is disabled.
