9.14.5 Checking the Configurations

After inter-AS IPv6 Provider Edge (6PE) is configured, you can view BGP4+ peer information.
You can also view the IPv6 routes received from the peer CE.
Prerequisites
Inter-AS 6PE has been configured.
Procedure
Step 1 Run the display bgp ipv6 peer [ verbose ] command on a PE to check BGP4+ peer information.
Step 2 Run the display ipv6 routing-table command on a CE to check IPv6 route information.

Example
Run the display bgp ipv6 peer [ verbose ] command on a PE. The command output shows the
BGP4+ peer relationship between the PE and a CE and the 6PE peer relationship between the
PE and an ASBR in the same AS or between the PE and the peer PE.
# Display BGP4+ peer information.
<PE> display bgp ipv6 peer
