Power Steering Gear and Associated Parts

Legend
(1) Pipe
(2) Universal Joint Bolt
(3) Pitman Arm

Removal

1. Remove the stone guard.
2. Remove the lower fan shroud. Refer to Radiator in
Engine section.
3. Disconnect stabilizer bar at the stabilizer links.
Loosen stabilizer bracket fixing nuts.
4. Remove pipe.
5. Remove nut.
6. Use Pitman arm remover J–29107 to remove pitman
arm.
