ALTERNATOR

1 Bolt (M8 X 40, 3 pieces) ................. 22.5-27.5 Nm
2 Bolt (M8 X 70, 2 pieces) ................. 22.5-27.5 Nm
Removal & Installation Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Remove the alternator.
3. Unscrew the alternator carrier bolts (1,2,3) and remove the
carrier (4).
Installation Notice
Tightening Torque
Notice
Apply 3Nm of torque when mounting the bolt (1); apply 25 ±
2.5Nm of torque when mounting the bolts (2), and (3); and
then tighten the bolt (1) with 25 ± 2.5Nm of torque.
4. Installation should follow the removal procedure in the
reverse order.
3 Bolt (M8 X 85, 1 piece) ................... 22.5-27.5 Nm
