Editing an existing spot color
To edit an existing spot color:
1. Open the Color Manager.
2. Select the Spot Color Editor tab.
3. Right-click on the desired row in the Spot Color Table.
4. From the context menu, select [Edit...]. The Edit Color dialog
opens. The Color name and Old Color values are shown in
non-editable text fields; a preview of the existing color is also
displayed.
5. Use the controls in the spin-boxes to edit the C,M,Y, and K
values, or type directly in the spin boxes to edit the values. The
preview for the edited color will change according to the new
values.
6. If desired, print a proof of the newly-edited color. See Printing
a proof of a spot color.
7. Once the values are edited to your satisfaction, select [OK] to
save the new values, or select [Cancel] to exit the dialog
without changing the values.
Creating a new spot color
To create a new spot color:
1. Open the Color Manager.
2. Select the Spot Color Editor tab.
3. Right-click on the desired row in the Spot Color Table.
4. From the context menu, select [New...]. The Spot Color Editor
dialog opens.
5. Type a unique name for the new color in the Color name text
field.
6. Use the controls in the spin-boxes to define the C,M,Y, and K
values, or type directly in the spin boxes to define the values.
The preview for the new color will change according to the
new values.
7. If desired, print a proof of the newly-edited color. See Printing
a proof of a spot color.
8. Once the values are defined to your satisfaction, select [OK] to
save the values, or select [Cancel] to exit the dialog without
saving the values.
