This feature is not supported on your printer. It is intended only for use with the iGen3 as
a method to address the Press Interface through the DocuSP Controller. Since your
printer does not have a separate Press Interface workstation, you will not need to access

3. Select the SNMP tab.
4. Click the [Common Settings...] button.
5. Type the applicable information into the available text boxes.
6. Click [OK] to save your settings.
Setting or Editing Trap Parameters
To set or edit SNMP Trap parameters:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu, select [Gateways...].
3. Select the SNMP tab.
4. Double click on any numbered horizontal line in the Traps
table.
5. In the boxes supplied, for TCP/IP networks type in the IP
address of the workstation which is running the SNMP
Manager program. For NetWare networks, type in the MAC
address (NIC hardware address) of the workstation that is
running the SNMP Manager.
6. For TCP/IP networks, enable the Port Number radio button
and type in 162 for the port number of the SNMP Manager
workstation that will be receiving UDP datagrams from the
device's SNMP Agent. For IPX networks, type in 9010 for the
default IPX Socket Number of the SNMP Manager
workstation.
7. Select a Trap Client Persistence:
Volatile
Non-Volatile
8. Under the Trap SNMP Version heading, select the SNMP
version supported by your SNMP Manager. Note that the
Xerox Common Management Interface (XCMI) used by this
system supports both SNMP versions 1.0 and 2.0.
9. Under the Traps Type heading, place a check mark in the
available boxes for the type of Traps you wish to send to the
Manager. For example, check the [Printer Alert] box for traps
regarding tray condition. Check the [Warm Start] box for traps
regarding system reboots. Check the [Cold Start] box for traps
regarding the powering on of shut down systems.
10. Click [OK] or [Apply] to save your settings.
