• Ordered stock: Enter the ordered stock name in the text
field then select the sequence number of the ordered
stock. The sequence is the number of unique sheets within
the ordered set before the set repeats.
• Custom
NOTE: You must load tab and preformated stock face up in
the source paper tray with the bind edge leading/tabs
trailing.
• Sequence: Available for Pre-Cut Tab, Ordered Stock,
Label, and certain custom stock selections. See above
descriptions.
Options FAB
The Options FAB enables you to perform the following actions:
• Tray Priority: Set a priority between 1 (highest priority)
through 99 (lowest priority) for the tray by entering a number or
using the spin-box.
Each tray is assigned a priority. The priority tells the system
the order in which the trays should be processed. All jobs in
the tray with the highest priority are processed before jobs in
trays with lower priorities. If a priority is not set, a default
priority is assigned to the tray when it is set up. If more than
one tray has the same priority, the tray are processed in
repeating succession.
• Choose the Tray Type:
– Fully Adjustable: Tray settings can be changed by all
users.
– Dedicated: Stock settings can be changed only by a
Trusted User or Administrator.
• If desired, type stocks comments in the provided field.
Options FAB
The Options FAB enables you to select the following tray
properties. Printer configuration will determine which of the
following selections are available.
• Stock Size Checking: The system automatically verifies that
the paper loaded in the paper tray matches the characteristics
programmed for the tray. To enable, mark the [Size Checking]
checkbox.
NOTE: When changing the paper stock and/or paper
orientation in Tray 5, the new stock/orientation is not
immediately recognized by the system. Open and close the
jam clearance cover above Tray 5, jam areas 7a and 7b, to
clear this fault message.
