be thickened to match the setting.
d. Select [Tint Darkness Control] to adjust the darkening of
commonly used Type 11 custom fills.
None: No enhancement.
1D Overstrike: Causes each scan line to be shifted by
one pixel in the fast scan direction and merged with the
original scan.
2D Overstrike: Causes each line to be shifted by one
pixel in the both the fast and slow scan directions and
merged with the original scan line. This will cause very
dark patterns to be printed as solid black.
2X Scaling: Scales the patterns by a factor of two and
causes the halftone screen frequency to be cut in half.
e. Use the UFST (Universal Font Scaling Technology) control
setting to adjust the amount of thickening for Intellifont
scalable fonts:
Intellifont Spot Size: Controls the darkness of the
Intellifonts processed with this rasterizer. The available
settings range is displayed above the spin box.
True Type Spot Size: Controls the darkness of the
True Type scalable fonts. The available settings range
is displayed above the spin box.

NOTE: TIFF properties do not contain unique settings for
this release of DocuSP and therefore, settings are not
adjustable.
5. Restoring factory defaults: Default image quality settings are
optimized for the DocuTech printers. If you modify these
settings, you may later want to restore the factory defaults.
a. Double-click the row in the Raster Image Processor list
which contains the processor and resolution you want to
modify.
b. Select [Defaults].
c. Select [OK].
