jobs that are too big or too small for the selected finishing
option are handled by the system. More Information...
Fault Job: Faults the job if the number of pages to print is too
large or too small for the selected finishing. A fault message
displays and the finishing option must be changed for the job
to print. The printer continues to print other jobs.
Print Job Unfinished: Automatically prints the job without
using finishing settings. If the finishing selection is critical to
the job, do not select this option.
User Intervention: User input determines how the job is
processed.
4. Set-Size Checking:
Check Set Size Before Printing: Enables the system to
check the set size before printing and informs you if a
finishing discrepancy exists.
Begin Printing Without Checking: You are not informed
of a finisher discrepancy.
5. Select the desired Job Completion Option.
NOTE: You are required to restart the system after making
changes in Job Completion Options. Select [Yes] to restart
immediately. If you select [No] your settings are not applied.
NOTE: The Job Completion Option feature is not supported
for IDPS.
a. Select from the following PDL files options:
Retain PDL files disabled: This is the default setting. The
job is not made available to resubmit once it has
completed printing and is placed in the Completed jobs tab
field in Job Manager. To have the system delete PDL files,
the Retain PDL Files checkbox must be cleared.
Retain PDL files: By selecting this option you are allowed
to change job properties and resubmit jobs for printing
once they are available in the Completed jobs tab field in
Job Manager. Only jobs submitted after this feature is
enabled can be released again.
You can select to retain jobs by choosing between the
Number of Jobs or the Time Period that the jobs are held.
Maximum % Spool Capacity is active at all times when
Retain PDL Files is selected.
PDL Files are retained until the maximum value of either
Percent of Spool Capacity or Number of Jobs/Time Period
is reached. Select the information icon for additional detail.
NOTE: Retain PDL files is automatically disabled
whenever the system is in Secure Mode. Retain PDL files
is restored when the system exits Secure Mode.
