Using the Input/Format FAB
If desired, you can enter account information, and job comments
for each queue.
1. Select [Notes...].
2. You can enter text in the following fields:
Comments: Enter a description of the queue or specify
instructions such as, "Send only 8.5 x 14 jobs."
Banner Page Message: Enter a message. This message
appears on the first sheet of each job printed from this
queue.
3. Select [OK].
You may also select an input mode. To do this, select a default
document format from the Default Format pull-down menu. The
document format enables you to select the default format for all
incoming jobs. The input properties of a queue determine how the
queue will process jobs received from the network. For additional

4. Select [OK], or continue setting queue properties.
Using the Destination FAB
It is important to save jobs to the correct directories so they can be
located for future printing. When you select a Save option, you
must specify a Save Location.
To specify a Save Location:
1. Select a Destination option from the following:
Print: Prints a job without saving it.
Save: Saves a job without printing it. The Save feature
converts a submitted PDL file into single- or multi-page
TIFF files that can be printed, edited, or combined with
variable data for forms printing. When Save is selected,
the Save Location button is enabled.
NOTE: A job cannot be saved over an old job. Each job
accessed from the Reprint Manager must have a unique
name.
NOTE: Color printers can Print & Save a job using Fast
Reprint Format (FRF) only. Once Print & Save is selected, the
Job Format is set automatically to FRF and cannot be
changed.
