3. Select the Destination FAB to set a save location and job
format. For more information on using this FAB, click Using the
Destination FAB.
4. The Job Filter FAB: Allows you to use the VPC Filter. The VPC
Filter is a job filtering mechanism that can be applied to one or
more queues on a DocuSP system. See Setting up a queue to
accept PPML (Personalized Print Markup Language) jobs for
additional information.
5. To use Administrative Pages see Using queue Administrative
Pages.
Using the Destination FAB
To use the Destination FAB:
1. Select from the following:
• Print: Prints the document only.
•
NOTE: Color printers can Print & Save a job using Fast
Reprint Format (FRF) only. Once Print & Save is selected,
the Job Format is set automatically to FRF and cannot be
changed.
• Save: Saves the document to the location designated in
[Save Location...]. The document can be retrieved later for
printing.
If [Print & Save] or [Save] is selected then the Save
Location fields become active. If a save location is not
made available by the System Administrator you can
select a folder in which jobs are saved.
NOTE: Verify the correct Save Location by either checking
with the System Administrator or by viewing the Save
Location in Setup menu > System Preferences > Save tab.
2. Click [Save Location...]. The Save location dialog window
opens.
3. From the Look In menu select the UNIX file system or media
location where the job is to be saved or type the location in the
Directory field.
4. If necessary, select the save folder.
5. Select [Override] if you want the Destination setting to take
precedence over programming associated with individual jobs.
6. Once the complete pathway appears in the Selection field click
[OK].
7. Select a Save Format:
• Single-page TIFF: Saves each page in the job as an
individual TIFF file.
• Multi-page TIFF: Saves the entire jobs as a single TIFF
