2. Select a User Name from the pull-down menu.
3. Select [OK] or continue setting properties.
Logon Message and Minimum Password Length
You can set up a custom logon message and the minimum
length of a password.
1. From the Logon Message field, select [Setup...].
2. You can:
Select a displayed message from the pull-down menu.
Select [New...] to add a custom logon message.
Select [Edit...] to edit a custom message.
3. Select [OK] after you have entered your new message.
4. Select [OK] to exit the Logon Message field.
5. You can set a minimum password length of up to eight
characters by entering a number in the Maximum
Password Length field.
6. Select [OK] or continue setting Security Profile properties.
Limit Print Service Paths
When the Limit Print Service Paths setting is enabled the
system restricts user access to the reprinting of files from the
path specified in the Allowed Paths field. This prevents
unlimited user printing of all the available files on the system.
To change the Allowed Paths:
1. Select [Limit Print Services Path]. The Allowed Paths field
becomes active.
2. Select [Setup...].
3. From the Directory menu, select the directory that you
want access to be allowed. The directory location displays
in the Selection field.
4. To add this location to the Reprint Manager Allowed Paths,
select [Add To List]. Repeat steps to add additional allowed
paths.
5. Select [OK].
General Services, Cleanup Menus
When enabled, the desktop displayed on the system monitor
shows a limited number of menu items and there is no terminal
window access to the underlying UNIX (Solaris) operating
system. Enabled is the default value for Low, Medium, and
High factory-default profiles. When set to disabled, the logged
on user sees a set of menu selections similar to that of
DocuSP 3.x, with terminal window access available. To
change the setting, right-click on the [Cleanup Menus] line and
select [Disabled] or [Enabled].
