5. To join an ADS group click [Join...].
6. In the ADS groups dialog, select a group to join.
7. Select [OK].
For additional ADS information, see: Microsoft ADS User Names,
and Viewing ADS Group information.
Setting up Ethernet connections
The Connections tab allows you to select Ethernet speeds.
To select Ethernet speeds:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the DocuSP Setup menu, select [Network
Configuration...].
3. Select the Connections tab.
4. Select an Ethernet speed from the pull-down menu.
5. Click [OK].
Setting up LPD
To set up LPD:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the DocuSP Setup menu, select [Gateways...].
3. Select the LPD tab.
4. If it is not already enabled by factory default, select the
[Enabled] radio button for Line Printer Daemon (LPD).
5. Select the Enabled radio button for [LPD Default Queue].
NOTE: For Production systems, with numerous internal
printer queues set up with Queue Manager, if this setting is
disabled, client LPR ports can be configured to send jobs to
your queue of choice.
6. Leave the LPD Port at its default value of 515. (Note: LPD
listens on port 515 for incoming TCP connections from clients.)
7. Click [Apply] or [OK] to save your settings.
Entering Proxy Information Into Remote Services
In support of effective diagnostics, at the time that your system is
first installed you should enter your HTTP Proxy Server name and
HTTP Proxy Port number into the Remote Services feature of the
system.
To do this, perform the following steps:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. Select [Remote Services...] from the System menu.
