Hide stock entries: Your printer comes with many stock
types pre-programmed into the system which cannot be
deleted. The Hidden Stocks area of the Stock Setup tab
provides a location where you can list any pre-
programmed stocks or customized stocks that aren't
actively in use.
Right-click the stock you wish to hide or show and choose
[Hide Entries] or [Show Entries] from the menu. The stock
is moved from the active stock list to the Hidden Stock list.
Show stock entries: You may find that you often need to
use a stock that you previously assigned to the Hidden
Stocks list. Move the stock back to the active stock list
using the Show Entries function.
Right-click the stock you wish to move and choose [Show
Entries] from the menu. The stock is moved from the
Hidden Stock list to the active stock list.
Importing stock settings
To prevent having to reprogram numerous stock profiles, or in the
event of a system upgrade, you can import previously created
stock profiles. When stock profiles are saved, they are saved in a
file named "stockinfo.tar" or in a ".tv" file type. You will need to
know where this file is located on your system.
To import stock settings:
1. Open the Printer Manager.
2. Choose the Stock Library tab.
3. Right-click a stock entry and choose [Import...]. The Import
Stocks dialog opens.
4. Use the Directory menu to indicate whether the file should be
imported from your native file system or media. Then use the
directory tree to browse to the specific location of the file you
wish to import. The complete path appears in the Selection
field.
5. Specify the import file type in the Type drop list. All files of the
specified type will appear in the Files list.
6. Select the file or files to be imported.
