• System Preferences: After the normal installation process the
printer can be set up to meet the needs of specific work
environments.
– Adjusting the brightness of the LCD monitor
– User Preferences: Choose the font size displayed on the
DocuSP GUI.
• FTP and Remote Diagnostics: FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
and Remote Diagnostics are features that can be used to
access the system remotely for system diagnostic purposes.
• Managing Users and Groups: Manage users and groups on
the DocuSP print system.
• Enabling SSL/TLS: Enabling Secure Sockets Layer and
Transaction Layer Security
• Managing your SSL/TLS certificate: Installing your SSL/TLS
certificate
• IP Filter: Provides access to the following services: LPR, IPP,
HTTP, SMB Printing (if applicable to your system), RAW TCP
Printing, and FTP Connections.
• FDI External Controller
• Adjusting the brightness of the LCD monitor
• Adding, editing and deleting IP Addresses and Members
The System Configuration utility allows you to:
• Perform peripheral management tasks.
• View information for the printer, controller, network and
attached devices, and the list of software packages currently
loaded on the DocuSP controller.
Accessing and viewing the system configuration
The System Configuration window allows the System
Administrator to view configuration information for the printer,
controller, network, and attached devices. You can print
information contained within each tab by selecting [Print].
NOTE: The server.config file supplies the Printer Name value. It is
contained in the section Product Name under the Name entry.
Currently, Diagnostics refers to this name as Printer Type.
To view configuration information:
1. Select [System Configuration...] from the DocuSP Setup
menu.
2. Select the Peripherals, General, Printer, Devices, Network, or
Software tabs. The following is a list of the information that is
