9. Select [OK] or [Apply] to save your settings, or [Cancel] to
close the window without making any changes.
Viewing or Changing Phase Type and Zone Name
To view or change phase type and zone name:
1. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
2. From the Setup menu, select [Gateways...].
3. Select the AppleTalk tab.
4. Select [Enable Apple Talk]. The remaining fields become
active.
5. Select an AppleTalk Phase. Phase Type is set to 2 by default.
This denotes a multi-zoned network of 256 workstations per
zone. The Phase 1 setting, which is available by clicking the
selection arrow, is an older phase with a limit of 256
workstations on a single network.
6. The Zone Name is set as a star (*) by default. This setting lets
the closest router assign the printer to a zone. You also can
configure the Zone Name as necessary.
7. Make changes to the settings, if required, then click [Apply] or
[OK]. If no changes are required, click [Cancel].
8. To log off, select [Logoff] from the Logon menu.
Beginning with software release 3.1, a Single Sign-On feature,
available under the DocuSP Setup Menu, lets System
Administrators configure the system to join a Windows 2000
domain enabling users to log on to the printer with Microsoft Active
Directory Services (ADS) user names.

To configure the system to join the domain:
1. Create a user account for the system on a Windows 2000
domain controller.
2. Logon to the DocuSP Controller as a System Administrator.
3. Select [Single Sign-On] from the Setup menu.
4. Select [Enable DNS].
5. In the Windows Domain Name box, provide the fully qualified
