Setting Color Image Quality Options for a Queue

between document sets in a print job. Slip Sheets differ from job
inserts in that they separate one job set from another while job
inserts separate pages of a job.
To use slip sheets:
1. Select the Slip Sheets FAB.
2. To use Slip Sheets select [Enable].
3. From the Slip Sheets Stock menu select:
a. Properties: Select [Properties...] to set custom stock
properties by using the Size/Color FAB, Type/Weight FAB,
and Coating FAB.
From the Name pull-down menu select a stock. Select
[Unspecified] from the Name menu to set custom stock
properties using the Size/Color FAB, Type/Weight FAB,
and Coating FAB.
NOTE: Be certain that the stock properties you select are
supported by the system.
b. Stock List: Presents stocks that are currently available to
the printer. Select a stock and click [OK].
c. Click [OK] to apply your changes and exit the dialog
window.
4. Select [OK] to accept your entries.
The Image Quality tab features enable a System Administrator to
set functions that enhance the quality of the printed image based
on the type of file being printed and the fonts being used.
NOTE: When you select the Override option for any queue
property, that selection will apply to any jobs submitted to that
queue and will take precedence over any property selections
made in the Job Manager or programmed into the job.
To set Image Quality options:
1. Open the Queue Manager.
2. Double-click the queue to open the Queue Properties tabset.
3. Click on the Image Quality tab.
4. Click on the Color Mode pull-down menu. The following
options are available:
DocuColor 2045/2060
NOTE: This color mode choice may be different depending
upon your print engine.
