2. Select [PostScript/PDF/PCL Fonts...] from the Administration
menu.
3. Select one of the following font types:
• PostScript Soft
• PCL Cartridge
4. Select [Load...]. The Import Fonts dialog window opens.
5. Select the appropriate directory or media type from the
Directory pull-down window.
If the fonts are being loaded from media, the media is read by
the controller and the fonts stored on the media are displayed.
If the UNIX File System option is selected, choose the
appropriate directory.
6. Select the fonts to be loaded from the Files field.
7. Select [Install]. Wait for the fonts to finish loading before
removing the storage media from the system.
The main Fonts dialog window displays the fonts that have
been loaded.
8. To display a list of available fonts select [List Fonts].
9. If the fonts were supplied from removable media, select the
[Eject] icon in the upper right corner of the Directory field.
NOTE: If the font loaded is a PostScript font, the font is
immediately available. If the font is a PCL font you must restart
the software to make the font available.
10. Select [Close] to exit the Install dialog window.
