2. If [Print & Save] or [Save] is selected then the Save Location
fields become active. If a save location is not made available
by the System Administrator you can select a folder in which
jobs are saved.
NOTE: Verify the correct Save Location by either checking
with the System Administrator or by viewing the Save Location
in Setup menu > System Preferences > Save tab.
a. Click [Save Location...]. The Save location dialog window
opens.
b. From the Look In menu select the UNIX file system, media
location, or if available, network location where the job will
be saved. You can also type the location in the Directory
field
c. If necessary, select the save folder.
d. Once the complete pathway appears in the Selection field
click [OK].
NOTE: Verify the correct Save Location by either checking
with the System Administrator or by viewing the Save Location
in the Save Preferences. In some cases, additional Save
directories are created to save specific jobs by user, by
department, or by another categorization.
3. If you selected [Print & Save] or [Save] select a Save format
from the following:
Single-page TIFF: Saves each page in the job as an
individual TIFF file.
Multi-page TIFF: Saves the entire jobs as a single TIFF
file.
Fast Reprint Format (FRF): Saves the job with
Decomposition completed, to facilitate faster reprinting of
the relatively larger color jobs.
NOTE: Color printers can Print & Save a job using Fast
Reprint Format (FRF) only. Once Print & Save is selected, the
Job Format is set automatically to FRF and cannot be
changed.
4. Select [OK] or continue setting queue properties.
The Job Filter FAB
The Job Filter FAB allows you to use the VI Project Container
(VPC) Filter. The VPC Filter is a job filtering mechanism that can
be applied to one or more queues on a DocuSP system. When the
VPC Filter is setup on a queue, it processes all VIPP jobs sent to
the queue via any print path gateway. Non-VPC files are passed
through the queue unfiltered and VPC files are filtered: expanded,
resources deployed, etc., according to the queue's setup
configuration. The GUI enables users to specify how the filter will
process VPC files and manage their resources. You can submit
