The System Menu
The System menu enables you to access system management
controls including software installation, resetting job ID's,
diagnostics, and starting/stopping the system.
The System menu is located near the top left corner of the
DocuSP GUI.
The System menu allows you to perform the following tasks:

Pausing and Resuming: Stops/resumes printer and/or scanner
processing.

Pausing and resuming processing

Resetting Job IDs: Resetting the job IDs deletes all of the jobs
in the system, resets the job ID numbers, and restarts the
software.

Remote Services Allows for a remote connection to the
DocuSP controller.
•
Software Install: Install and manage software.
•
Diagnostics: provides service contact and system information.
•
UNIX Terminal Window: Allows access to the UNIX terminal.

Powering on/off and restarting the system and printer:

Performing an emergency power off of the printer

Backing up and restoring the system and configuration files
•
Backing up the system configuration files

Backing up the system files

Backing up the system configuration files

Restoring the System Disk files

Restoring the configuration files

Secure Mode: Secure mode provides an extra level of control
over printed pages. The secure mode can be used to disable
page sampling, page spacing, and the offline tape "Move
Blocks" command.
