3. If applicable, before connecting DC power source to the server, remove the header from the
corresponding power connector.
a. Loosen the two captive screws that secure the header; then, remove the header from the power
connector.

b. Store the header for future use.
Note: Install the header when the power connector is not used. The connector could be damaged
without proper protection.
Install the AC PIB module
Procedure
Step 1. Insert the PIB module into the slot until it is firmly seated
Step 2. Secure the PIB module with one screw.
