Step 2. If necessary, install an M.2 heat sink to the M.2 drive to be installed. See
on page 185.
Step 3. If necessary, adjust the retainer to accommodate the size of the M.2 drive to be installed. See
"Adjust the retainer on the M.2 adapter" on page
Step 4. Install the M.2 drive.
a. Hold the M.2 drive at an angle, and insert the drive into the M.2 slot.
b. Lower the rear side of the M.2 drive down to the M.2 adapter.
c. Secure the M.2 drive with one screw.
Note: If necessary, repeat this procedure to the other M.2 drive to be installed.
