Connecting CS 1000E system components
The Shielded 50-pin to Serial/ELAN/TLAN adapter shown in Figure 34
provides access to the TLAN and ELAN Ethernet Ports. The adapter breaks
out the signals from the I/O connector to the following:
• ELAN (management) network interface
• TLAN (telephony) network interface
• one RS-232 (local console) port
