Replacing a JCS 1200 Switch Module Interposer

NOTE: The switch module interposer is not a field-replaceable unit (FRU). You cannot
order a switch module interposer separately. If the switch module interposer requires
replacement, you must replace the entire chassis. For instructions on replacing the
chassis, see "Replacing a JCS 1200 Chassis" on page 113.

Installing a JCS 1200 Switch Module Filler Tray
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist and
connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Remove the switch module filler and filler tray, if one is installed (see "Removing
a JCS 1200 Switch Module or Module Filler" on page 143 and "Removing a
JCS 1200 Switch Module Filler Tray" on page 145).
Make sure that the release handle is in the open position.
Slide the switch module filler tray into the switch module bay until it stops.
Push the filler tray release handle to the closed position.
Install a switch module or filler (see "Installing a JCS 1200 Switch Module or
Module Filler" on page 143).
