Cannot connect to the JCS 1200
platform using Telnet
Action
1.
Make sure that:
The other fans are installed and working.
At least one management module is installed, and it is active and working.
2.
Reseat the fan module.
3.
Contact your Juniper Networks representative.

Make sure that all power cords are connected to a compatible power source and that
the power source is working (see "Connecting the JCS 1200 AC Platform to AC
Power" on page 62 or "Connecting the JCS 1200 DC Platform to DC
Power" on page 63
2.
Reseat the fan module.

1.
Make sure that:
The network cable is connected to the Ethernet port on the primary management
module.
The network cable is not connected to the serial port on the management module.
The IP address or hostname is correct. The default IP address is 192.168.70.125.
2.
Reseat the management module.
NOTE: Removing the primary management module will cause an automatic failover to the
redundant management module, if one is installed.
3.
Reset and reconfigure the management module (for more information, see JUNOS
Protected System Domain Configuration Guide).
4.
Contact your Juniper Networks representative.
