Replacing a JCS 1200 Midplane

NOTE: The midplane is not a field-replaceable unit (FRU). You cannot order a midplane
separately. If the midplane requires replacement, you must replace the entire chassis.
For instructions on replacing the chassis, see "Replacing a JCS 1200
Chassis" on page 113.

Replacing a JCS 1200 Midplane
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist and
connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Make sure that the media tray release lever is in the open position and the
compact flash release buttons are pushed into the in position.
Slide the media tray into position until it stops and locks into place.
Rotate the media tray release lever to the closed position.
