The JCS 1200 platform ships with one switch module. You can install a second switch
module for redundancy.
To install a switch module (see Figure 83 on page 144):

Installing a JCS 1200 Switch Module or Module Filler
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist and
connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Remove the switch module filler, if one is installed (see "Removing a JCS 1200
Switch Module or Module Filler" on page 143).
Make sure that the release handle is in the open position.
Slide the switch module into the switch module interposer until it stops.
Push the switch module release handle to the closed position.
Connect the cables to the switch module.
