6A1-16 ENGINE MECHANICAL
EXHAUST MANIFOLD
: Tightening Torque
: Do not reuse
1. Exhaust manifold
2. Engine hook
3. Exhaust manifold cover
4. Oxygen sensor No.1
5. Exhaust manifold gasket
6. Exhaust No.1 pipe seal ring
7. Exhaust No.1 pipe
WARNING:
To avoid danger of being burned, do not service exhaust
system while it is still hot. Service should be performed af-
ter system cools down.
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Disconnect oxygen sensor No.2 (1) coupler and clamp.
3) Remove exhaust No.1 pipe (2) with catalytic converter case (3).
4) Disconnect oxygen sensor No.1 coupler (1) and clamp (2).
5) Remove exhaust manifold cover (3).
8. Oxygen sensor No.2
9. Catalytic converter case
10. Catalytic converter case gasket
11. Exhaust manifold bolts (long)
12. Exhaust manifold bolts (short)
13. Exhaust manifold nuts
14. Exhaust pipe bolts
15. Catalytic converter case nuts
