9-30 BODY SERVICE
FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
SECURITY AND LOCKS
REMOVAL
1) Remove door trim and door sealing cover, refer to steps 1) to 9)
of FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL in this section.
2) Raise window all the way up.
3) Remove door sash.
4) Remove door lock cover (1).
5) Disconnect door opening control rod (2) from outside handle.
6) Disconnect door lock control rod (3).
7) Disconnect door lock motor lead wire (if equipped).
8) Remove door lock nob (4).
9) Loosen door lock mounting screw (5) and remove door lock as-
sembly (6).
