TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS TABLE
NOTE:
For the inspection of throttle position sensor, refer to TP SENSOR in Section 6E of Service Manual men-
tioned in the FOREWORD of this manual.

D A/T VSS or its circuit faulty
D Shift solenoid No.1, No.4 or its circuit faulty
D O/D CUT switch circuit faulty
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit faulty
D TCM faulty
D Shift solenoid No.1 (4th ! 3rd), No.2
(2nd ! 1st), No.3 (3rd ! 2nd), No.4
(4th ! 3rd), No.5 (3rd ! 2nd) or its
circuit faulty
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit faulty
D TCM faulty
D Throttle position sensor, A/T VSS or its
circuit faulty
D Shift solenoid No.1, No.2, No.3 or its circuit

Inspect A/T VSS.
Repair or replace.
Inspect TP sensor.
Replace TCM.
Inspect A/T VSS.
Repair or replace.
Refer to "O/D CUT SWITCH" in
this section and/or inspect its
circuit.
Inspect TP sensor.
Replace TCM.
Repair or replace.
Inspect TP sensor.
Replace TCM.
