7B-68 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (4 A / T)
DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
D Thoroughly clean transmission exterior before overhaul-
ing it.
D Keep working table, tools and hands clean while over-
hauling.
D Use special care to handle aluminum parts so as not to
damage them.
D Do not expose removed parts to dust. Keep them always
clean.
1) Remove torque converter (1).
2) Remove engine mounting LH bracket.
3) Remove oil cooler (1) and battery ground cable (2) (if still at-
tached).
4) Remove A/T VSS (1) and input revolution sensor (2).
5) Remove shift switch (3).
6) Remove dropping resister (4).
7) Remove breather hose (5).
