6.4 Fault Detection
LED Operator Display
Cause
Control circuit is damaged.
Control circuit terminals have shorted out
(+V, AC).
Control terminal input current has exceeded
allowable levels.

A/D Conversion Error
CPF02
An A/D conversion error occurred.
Cycle power to the drive. If the problem continues, replace the drive.
• Check for wiring errors along the control circuit terminals.
• Correct the wiring.
Check the resistance of the speed potentiometer and related wiring.
• Check the input current.
• Reduce the current input to control circuit terminal (+V) to 20 mA.
PWM Data Error
CPF03
There is a problem with the PWM data.
Replace the drive.
EEPROM Data Error
CPF06
There is an error in the data saved to EEPROM.
Cycle power to the drive. If the problem continues, replace the drive.
• Cycle power to the drive and check operation again.
• Initialize the drive using A1-03.
• If the problem persists after initializing the drive, replace the drive.
Terminal Board Communications Error
CPF07
A communication error occurred at the terminal board.
Turn the power off and reconnect the control circuit terminals.
EEPROM Serial Communication Fault
CPF08
EEPROM communications are not functioning properly.
Turn the power off and check the control terminal connections.
CPF11
RAM Fault
Replace the drive.
FLASH Memory Fault
CPF12
Problem with the ROM (FLASH memory).
Replace the drive.
Watchdog Circuit Exception

Self-diagnostics problem.
Replace the drive.
Control Circuit Fault

CPU error (CPU operates incorrectly due to noise, etc.)
